Next Level Tango

Argentine Tango is enjoyed on a different level from other dances.

It's the reason it is fascinating and compelling.
It's what we do, and we are devoted to helping dancers find their Tango.
This is a direct repeat of a newsletter from a popular online Tango couple. We agree 100% with the sentiments expressed. "Step-based" learning traps dancers in a cycle that is difficult to break, and does not allow dancers to 'unpeel' the dance as they progress to a deeper understanding and enjoyment of the dance.
You know that feeling when you step onto the dance floor and your mind goes into overdrive?
"What if I can't follow their lead?"
"Am I boring them with the same basic steps?"
"Why does everyone else look so effortless while I feel like I'm just surviving each song?"
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.
After analysing feedback from hundreds of tango students, we've discovered something profound:
The dancers who struggle most aren't lacking talent. They're stuck in a cycle of step-based learning that actually prevents confidence.
💬 They mentioned feeling "disconnected" during social dancing, even after years of classes.
💬 They struggle with improvisation because they're mentally cycling through memorised sequences.
💬 They want to improve their "confidence" and "connection" more than learning new steps.
What's our solution?
Instead of throwing more steps for you to learn, our Tango Confidence Online Course works backwards from the specific challenges our students face most:
❌ Problem: "I can't stop thinking about what comes next"
✅ Solution: We teach you the technical foundations and musical tools so improvisation flows naturally
❌ Problem: "I feel disconnected from my partner"
✅ Solution: We teach you the linear points of connection in the embrace (how they align with your centre and create clear communication with any partner)
❌ Problem: "My dancing isn’t fluid"
✅ Solution: We teach you transitions in between steps so your dancing flows naturally and looks more expressive
❌ Problem: "I'm afraid to dance with new partners"
✅ Solution: We teach you the key techniques to adapt with confidence to different styles of embrace and musical propositions.
We give you the kind of technique that frees you from overthinking…so your movements become second nature, and your mind can finally let go.
Posture and Embrace: How to maintain balance and comfort, so you feel grounded and connected with any partner
Elegant Walk + Dissociation: How to make your walk expressive and your ochos fluid, with real control and softness
Cross-System + Flexible Embrace: Tools for sophistication and adaptability so that you can dance with different styles [Ed: We don't do "flexible embrace". We prefer the dance of the milongas.
Free Leg + Musical Pauses: The keys to improvising with intention and using silence as part of your artistry.
